DanceBlue 5K Race
The DanceBlue 5K Race For The Kids is an annual event held in Georgetown, Kentucky, at Great Crossings High School. The race features a 5K run/walk on paved surfaces through the high school campus area, including an out-and-back course passing by the elementary school and sports fields. Participants receive commemorative T-shirts, and awards are given to top finishers.
The event welcomes walkers and strollers, with student discounts available. Beyond the race, there is food, fun, and fellowship supporting a great cause. Proceeds benefit DanceBlue, a University of Kentucky student-run organization raising funds for pediatric hematology/oncology research and patient support at the Kentucky Children’s Hospital.
