Course, logistics and services
The course uses a 6.5-mile loop through the equestrian center combining wide packed dirt paths, single-track trails, and meadows, with about 600 feet of elevation gain per loop. One aid station is located at the start/finish area and offers water, coke, ginger ale, pickles, cookies, chips, fig newtons, and pretzels. This is a cup-less event; participants are required to provide their own hydration vessel. Camping for participants and crews is available without water or power. Drop bags may be placed at the start/finish area and should be labeled with bib number. Included with registration are finisher medals, custom bibs, complimentary race photos, chip timing with splits and live results, admission to the equestrian center, and event-themed items. Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age group medals for top three in each age category. Volunteer shifts of three hours may earn a free entry to an Upstate Race Series-owned event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
