About the race
The Dashing Through the Snow and Fire 5k is an afternoon 5K Run/Walk in Fowlerville, Michigan. In its 19th year, the family‑friendly event is professionally chip‑timed and fueled by holiday cheer. The course is described as great, with standout features including two hot air balloon baskets that ‘fire’ up runners and pyrotechnics to cheer them on.
A Christmas parade adds to the festivities in the evening. All finishers receive a unique award and a new running hat, with overall male and female winners recognized.
