Davis Labor Day Run
The Davis Labor Day Run is an annual community running event held in Davis, California, at Central Park (corner of 3rd and C Streets). The 26th edition is scheduled for Monday, September 1, 2025. It features multiple race distances including a 1 Mile run/walk, 5K, 10K, and a Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run for children 12 and under, along with a virtual participation option.
The courses primarily traverse downtown and South Davis, offering a family-friendly atmosphere. Participants receive a finisher medal, and 5K, 10K, and One Mile entrants get a dri-blend t-shirt and post-race refreshments including pancakes. Awards are given for overall, age group, and special divisions such as adaptive athletes and cancer survivors.
The event benefits Cancer Champions, a nonprofit supporting cancer survivors through tailored fitness and nutrition programs. Parking is available throughout downtown Davis with no holiday enforcement. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
