DDLM Endurance Run
The DDLM Endurance Run, held at South Beach State Park in Oregon, is a unique ultramarathon event celebrating the Día de Los Muertos tradition. Participants can choose from multiple race durations including 48, 24, 12, and 6-hour solo runs, as well as 48-hour and 24-hour team relays. The course is a 3,856-meter single loop combining trails and pavement.
A special ofrenda (altar) at the start allows runners to honor ancestors, adding cultural depth to the race. The event features traditional Aztec dance performances and offers awards such as finisher medals, belt buckles for 50- and 100-mile achievements, and team-specific prizes.
