About the race
Death by 5K in Brandon, Mississippi, is a unique 24-hour endurance challenge where participants run ten 5K races spaced every 2.5 hours, starting at 8 AM. Hosted at the RunStrong Training Center, the course remains consistent for each leg, beginning and ending at the center. Runners can rest in their vehicles or set up tents on a nearby green space between runs.
The event features five hot meals and ample snacks to sustain participants. Due to summer heat and no on-course aid stations, runners must carry their own hydration.
