Event overview

Death by 5k Coldwater Creek is a multi-stage running challenge held at Adventures Unlimited Outdoor Center in Milton, Florida. The event requires participants to complete ten 5k races spread across a 24-hour period, with each start approximately 2.5 hours after the previous one. Initial registration is limited to 175 participants; a waitlist will open after that and additional participants may be added if slots open.

Course, amenities and logistics

Race headquarters is at the venue known as The Barn. The course is a loop through the property alongside Coldwater Creek. The route is mostly single track with many roots and some rocks, and includes sections of ATV-packed sand roads. Hot food, snacks, water and Gatorade will be provided at multiple points during the event. Participants may use tents, hammocks, pop-up shelters, or vehicles between races. Tent campsites are available in an adjacent grass field for a $20 fee per tent (up to four people per site); the fee is collected at packet pick up and sites are first come, first served.
