Death Valley Marathon

Website Registration

The Death Valley Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K take place annually in Death Valley National Park, California. The event features an out-and-back, relatively flat course with less than 500 feet of elevation change, running along the paved bike path adjacent to Highway 190. Runners experience stunning desert landscapes below sea level, including views of surrounding mountain ranges and a scenic section through Mustard Canyon.

The race is limited to 300 participants, offering a unique challenge in mild winter temperatures ranging from 30-40°F lows to highs in the low 70s. Aid stations are spaced every three miles, and strict safety rules apply, including no headphones due to open road traffic. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
