Delaware Trail Fest
The Delaware Trail Fest, held at Lums Pond State Park in Bear, Delaware, is a trail running event celebrating the area's scenic outdoor trails. It offers multiple race options including 12 KM and 24 KM trail runs, as well as a 12-hour Lone Wolf solo challenge and a 12-hour 4-person relay. The course features approximately 70% single track, 10% gravel, and 20% wider trails with mostly flat terrain and some rolling sections.
Aid stations are spaced every 3 to 4 miles, providing water, Gatorade, and trail snacks. The event is chip-timed with age-graded results to ensure fair competition across all ages and genders. All finishers receive custom medals, and a post-race party with food is held. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
