About the race
Desert Peak Ultra, presented by Everyday Ultra, takes place near Oracle, Arizona, climbing Mt Lemmon from the Santa Catalina Range. The event offers 100K, 50K, and the Summit Challenge (a double). The race blends Sonoran desert trails with alpine summit running, starting with a steep climb to Summerhaven, followed by long desert and singletrack sections back toward the finish.
Elevation includes about 12,000 ft of climbing for the 100K and 8,000 ft for the 50K, with 24- and 12-hour cutoffs respectively. This race emphasizes a festival atmosphere and strong community, with generously stocked aid stations; note the final course may change pending permits.
