Event overview
The Devil Mountain Run is set for May 3, 2026 in downtown Danville, California. This is the 46th annual running of the event. The beneficiary for 2026 is the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area. The event includes a vendor expo, packet pickup and awards at the main stage. The first 1,000 registered and paid runners receive a tech shirt; there are no t-shirts for the kids race. Day-of registration and bib pick-up are available in the Lunardi's parking lot, and pre-race packet pickup is at Forward Motion Sports.
Courses and race details
Race options include:
- 5K - USATF certified course finishing near Prospect Ave.
- 10K - USATF certified course with a loop through the local neighborhood.
- Mile of Truth - USATF certified one-mile race with quarter-mile markers.
- Buddi Love Dog Mile - same course as the Mile of Truth; dog water bowls at finish.
- Kids Fun Run - three age categories with 1/4 mile, 200 yards, and 100 yards.
The 5K and 10K courses have mile markers, water stations at the start, finish and along the course, and a secure athlete bag-drop in the registration area. The Mile of Truth is a PAUSATF grand prix championship event; prize money for heats requires a minimum of 12 competitors. Dogs and strollers are allowed only in the 5K and must start from the back of the field.
