Event overview
The Dia De Los Muertos 5K is scheduled for October 25, 2025, in Ocala, FL. The race is presented by the Marion County Gator Club and is the third annual running of the event. Proceeds are intended to provide scholarships to local students attending the University of Florida. The event ties to the Dia de los Muertos tradition and features themed decorations and photo props at the finish area. The first 150 runners to cross the finish line will receive a Dia de los Muertos Gator Skull medal.

Registration and awards
Early registration for the 5K and virtual 5K is $35 until midnight on October 15, 2025. Late registration is $40 until October 24, 2025; race day registration is $45 and will be by cash or check only, with shirts not guaranteed. The Fun Run fee is $15 for early registration and $18 for late registration, with the same cut-off dates. The deadline for race shirts is midnight on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.
