Event details
Running of the Squares Brownwood takes place on Saturday, October 18, 2025 in The Villages, FL 32163. It is race number 1 of The Villages 2025-26 series. The event is a 5K (3.1 mile) fun run with chip timing and scoring. The start and finish are at the intersection of Brownwood Boulevard and West Torch Lake Drive. Registration, packet pick up and awards
Early registration through Sunday, October 12, 2025 is $25. Registration after October 12 and day-of-race registration are $40. Packet pick up is scheduled for Friday, October 17 at La Hacienda Recreation Center, 1200 Avenida Central, The Villages, FL 32159.
Age group awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each listed category, from 14 & under through 90+. Team place awards are given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
