Diablo del Desperado

Diablo del Desperado is a trail-running challenge held at the private Desperado Resort just outside Boerne, Texas. The event offers 30K, 10K, and 5K runs, plus 30K and 10K Ruck options, with a Buddy Pass available for spectators. The course showcases rugged Texas Hill Country terrain—rocky canyon trails, steep climbs, and gritty single-track—under hot, humid late-September conditions.

Fully stocked aid stations provide water, electrolytes, fuel, and first aid. Finisher rewards include a medal and race shirt, and finishers can cool down with a dip in the Guadalupe River just steps from the finish. Chip timing is used for accurate results.
