The Dirty Dog Trail 4 Miler takes place on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Veterans Park in Lexington, KY 40515. The race offers in-person and virtual options and a volunteer role.

Open to ages 1 to 99. Packet pickup is scheduled race morning at Veterans Park.
Course and logistics
The in-person course is a measured 4.0 miles on Veterans Park trails and pathways near East Hickman Creek. Surfaces include open grassy areas and mainly hard packed dirt single-track; the route crosses at least one dry rocky creek and includes rock surfaces, roots, mounds, and switchbacks. Short grassy sections lead from the start and to the finish.
The race is chip timed. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and in 5-year age-group divisions. There will be at least two hydration stops (near mile markers 1 and 3). Commemorative long-sleeved shirts are provided to registrants; sizes are available in multiple men's and women's options. The 2025 race beneficiary is the Hickman Creek Conservancy; a portion of proceeds and 100% of participant donations support the conservancy.
