The Pumpkin Smash 5K & Kid's Fun Run takes place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Falling Springs Recreation Center, 275 Beasley Road, Versailles, KY 40383. The event includes a 5K Run/Walk and a Kid's Fun Run. The Kid's Fun Run is 200 yards and open to children ages 9 and under. Registration fees listed are $35 for the 5K and $20 for the Kid's Fun Run. A volunteer event is listed with no fee and was shown as sold out.

Race features and purpose
The race is held in conjunction with a community Pumpkin Smash. The Versailles Fire Department will hoist and drop leftover Halloween pumpkins as part of that activity. Race features include commemorative unisex adult and youth T-shirts, free race photos, awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, music, food and drink, and a paved course through the grounds of Falling Springs. One hundred percent of race proceeds and donations will support the Versailles Kiwanis Club and its local charitable activities. Race day packet pickup is available at the Falling Springs Pavilion.
