DLS 5k for Lewy Body Dementia

The DLS 5k for Lewy Body Dementia is an annual running event held in Arlington, Virginia, at Bon Air Park & Rose Gardens. Scheduled for August 23, 2025, the race features a mostly flat, out-and-back 5k course along the scenic W&OD Trail. In addition to the 5k, there is a 1-mile fun run option on the same course.

The event supports the Lewy Body Dementia Association, raising awareness and funds for this lesser-known but common form of dementia. All finishers receive a t-shirt (if registered by July 23), and prizes are awarded to top finishers. Timing is manual using race clocks and bibs.
