About the race
Doggone Tired Ultra in Vinton, Iowa, offers 50K and 10-mile options on a loop course at Rodgers Park. The quiet park features wood-chip trails around a lake, with about 3.5 miles on a low-traffic gravel road; the rest traverses grassy fields and wooded, more technical sections. The event provides two aid stops with a variety of foods and drinks, five bathroom facilities on the loop, and post-race showers.
Pacers are allowed on the third lap but cannot carry supplies. There is a second-lap 5-hour cut-off to finish within nine hours, no drop-off bag area, and post-race refreshments. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
