About the race
5TH AND FINAL Nathan's Miles Glow Run takes place in Vinton, Iowa, at the VS High School campus (210 W 21st St). The event offers a Kids Glow Fun Run for ages 10 and under and a Glow Run - 5K for ages 11 and up. It promotes the longest glow trail in the country (and perhaps the world) and aims for a festive, family-friendly atmosphere with a glow-themed course.
The event is untimed and for fun, with no prizes for placement, though participants may time themselves if they wish. Proceeds support Nathan's Miles Foundation scholarships, which previously awarded three $2,000 awards to local graduates. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
