The Dogwood Classic 5K Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026 in Knoxville, TN at the west parking lot, 2250 Cherokee Boulevard. Events include:

The 5K is a USATF certified loop course that begins and ends at the west parking lot. Assorted post-race refreshments will be provided in the event tent. Roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course. The 5K course closes in 1 hour and 15 minutes. The Knoxville Track Club (KTC) maintains an event safety and weather policy for this race.
Registration and race policies
Packet pick up includes an early option at Runner’s Market in Bearden and day-of pickup. Registration fee structure (no refunds or bib transfers): early bird through January 31 is $25; February 1 - April 8 is $30; April 9 - April 26 is $35; race day is $40. Entry cost for ages 17 and under is $25 through April 15, then $35 for late registration; race day is $40. Unisex t-shirts are provided to registrants; shirt orders are placed April 22 and shirts after that date are available while supplies last. Awards are given to the top three overall, age groups, and specialty categories, including Masters (40+), Grandmasters (50+), and Senior Grandmasters (60+) by gender. The race is part of the 2026 Grand Prix team competition; Grand Prix points require KTC membership and volunteering at three KTC races.
