Dole 3 Miler
The Dole 3 Miler is an annual running event held in Fryeburg, Maine, celebrating George Dole's legacy as an elite runner in 1954. This family-friendly race features a 3-mile out-and-back course along the scenic Fryeburg Rail Trail. It welcomes runners of all levels, from elite athletes to first-timers, and honors participants over 80 years old.
Organized by the Fryeburg New Church Assembly, the event offers prizes such as gift certificates, commemorative t-shirts, and handcrafted sturdleys. A virtual race option is also available, providing participants with a t-shirt and sturdley, though virtual runners are not eligible for additional prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
