The Don't Tread on Me event takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Greenbelt 428 Park in Aubrey, TX 76227. The event offers multiple race options and a virtual alternative. Available events include:
- Kid's Dash (100–200 m, free)
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon
- Virtual Option
Several in-person distances carry entry fees: the half-marathon is listed at $65, the 10K at $42, the 5K at $35, and the 1 Mile at $18. The virtual option is listed at $40. Some event prices increase after November 30, 2025.
Awards, extras, and community support
Registration for the in-person distances includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom finisher medal for the 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, and half-marathon. Age group awards are available for the 5K, 10K, and half-marathon only. Age groups are awarded four deep across standard male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters/grand masters categories will receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. The virtual option will have shirts and medals shipped to participants. The organizer supports charities: 50% of profits and 100% of donations to Wounded Warrior Project, and 10% of profits and 100% of donations to Encounter Church (Fate).
