The Don't Tread on Me race takes place Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Greenbelt 428 Park in Aubrey, TX 76227. The event offers multiple distance options and a virtual entry. Distances available include:
- Kid's Dash
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
- Half-Marathon
- Virtual Option
The Kid's Dash is a short 100–200 meter sprint and is free to enter; participants may purchase a shirt or finisher medal as add-ons. The 1 Mile option is an untimed event and has no age group awards. The half-marathon course is listed as two laps.
Awards, shirts, volunteers, and charity
Registration includes an event-themed participation shirt for the 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon and a custom finisher medal for those distances. Age group awards are offered for the 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon; age groups are awarded four deep across standard male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters divisions will receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
The organizer, Run Different, offers a virtual option that ships shirt and medal to virtual registrants. Run Different donates part of proceeds to charities: 50% of profits and 100% of donations to Wounded Warrior Project, and 10% of profits and 100% of donations to Encounter Church (Fate).
