The 15K starts in downtown Pensacola and finishes at the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk parking lot. The course crosses two bridges and travels over Pensacola Bay and Santa Rosa Sound, passing the historic district, Bayfront Parkway, Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola Beach. The 5K travels from Gulf Breeze to Pensacola Beach on Santa Rosa Island and the Gulf Islands Seashore. The 15K start location is listed at Maritime Park / Blue Wahoos Stadium (301 W Main St., Pensacola). The 5K start is at 10 Daniel St., Gulf Breeze (adjacent to Gulf Breeze High School football field). Strollers, bikes, rollerblades, and dogs are not allowed in either race.
Logistics, timing and awards
Both races use IPICO electronic timing with a disposable chip on each bib; age-category results are scored by net time while overall awards use gun time. The 15K has a corral start and a required pace limit of 14 minutes per mile. Aid stations: three on the 15K (near the 2-, 6-, and 8-mile marks) and one on the 5K (near mile 2); stations include water, medical support, and portable toilets. Gear bag check is available at both start areas using the clear bag provided at packet pickup; gear is transported to the finish area. Participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt (while supplies last) and finishers receive a commemorative medal. Cash awards for the 15K are listed for the top five overall places in men and women. Packet pickup and the expo are at Hilton Pensacola Beach on Feb 5 and Feb 6. Parking guidance notes parking at Casino Beach with pre-race shuttles from the beach to the start areas; a toll-by-plate fee applies to enter the island on race morning.
