Event overview
Downingtown Good Neighbor Day - Firetrucks and Fireworks is scheduled for Saturday, July 4, 2026 at Kerr Park in Downingtown, PA. The daylong event typically draws about 1,500 athletes and includes food vendors, roughly 80–100 craft exhibitors, multiple activities and a fireworks finale at dusk. Proceeds support local volunteer fire, ambulance and rescue squads within the Downingtown Area School District.

Entry fees vary by event; some youth events are free and age limits apply (Kid's K open to ages 2–12, Big Wheel open to ages 2–10). Registered runners and walkers receive event T-shirts; medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in each running category and medals are given to all Kids K finishers. The top male and female runner each receive a $50 prize. Runner bib and T-shirt pickup is available at the gazebo in Kerr Park on July 3 and on July 4. Entry fees are non-refundable.
