About the race
Downingtown Good Neighbor Day, held at Kerr Park in Downingtown, PA, is a day-long community festival ending in a Fireworks Grand Finale. The event features Run for Life races—5K, 10K, and 15K—and a 5K Freedom Walk, drawing about 1,500 athletes annually. The day offers food, 80–100 craft exhibitors, and family activities.
In addition to racing, participants can try Krapf’s Canoe/Kayak Brandywine River Challenge, Cornhole Madness, GND Kid’s K, and the Big Wheel Race for kids. Proceeds support local fire and rescue squads in the Downingtown area. It celebrates community ties and supports first responders and local emergency services.
