Duke City Marathon
The Duke City Marathon, held annually in Albuquerque, New Mexico, features a scenic course starting at Mayor Kinney Civic Plaza in downtown. Since its inception in 1984, the event has expanded to include seven races: marathon, marathon relay, half marathon, 10K run and walk, and 5K run and walk, catering to all ages and abilities. The marathon course offers a mix of urban streets and trails, including views of the Sandia Mountains, with a modest elevation gain.
Participants receive commemorative gear and enjoy a post-race festival. The event also hosts championship races and diverse categories, including wheelchair and relay teams. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
Always double-check with the organizer's website – things can change, and we might have sprinted past a few details!
