Dunedin Veterans Day Runs : event details
The Dunedin Veterans Day 5K, 10K and Kids Dash runs take place on Sunday, November 9, 2025, in downtown Dunedin, Florida. The event starts and finishes near the Dunedin Hale Center at 330 Douglas Avenue, directly across from Dunedin Stadium and near the VFW. Race registration prices listed are $40 for the 5K, $50 for the 10K, and $25 for the kids dash. All 5K and 10K registrants receive a RUN FLORIDA promotional shirt at check in. All registrants receive an American-themed finisher medal. Framed awards are presented for the first 15 male and first 15 female finishers in the 5K. Results are collected with an electronic race splitter timing system and are posted later on the event website www.727CanRace.com.

- Kids Dash For The Flag (children run in groups by size; stroller friendly)
The 5K and 10K use the fully paved Pinellas Trail on an out-and-back route heading north from the Hale Center. Law enforcement and county deputies are positioned at intersections along the course. Parking is free at the Hale Center and at the Dunedin Library. Registrants are sent a pre-race email the day before with bib assignment and parking and arrival instructions.
