DV8K Life Changing Run
The DV8K Life Changing Run is an annual event held at the historic Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. The race offers an 8K (4.97 miles) double-loop course for runners able to maintain a 15-minute/mile pace, a 4K (2.5 miles) run/walk welcoming strollers, and a Kids' 1/4 Mile Dash. The paved course features two hydration stations passed twice, with a total elevation change of 314 feet.
The event supports the DV8 Kitchen Vocational Training Foundation, aiding people in early addiction recovery. Participants enjoy chip timing, awards, commemorative shirts, post-race food, and a lively atmosphere with music and community fellowship. Virtual participation is also available.
