East Texas Ultra
The East Texas Ultra is a trail running event held at Lake Bob Sandlin State Park, featuring distances of 7K, 14K, 28K, and 50K. Set in the scenic piney woods of East Texas, the race follows a 4.5-mile loop of mainly dirt single-track trails. Participants can enjoy a beautiful course with slight elevation changes and various aid stations offering food and hydration.
The event is part of the Texas Ultra Series, where finishers collect medals that combine to form the shape of Texas. Awards are given for top finishers, and there are opportunities to qualify for the Big Texas Ultra Championship. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
