Event details
The EHT Nature Reserve Turkey Trot is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, 2025, at the Egg Harbor Township Nature Reserve in Egg Harbor Township, NJ 08234. The event includes two distances:
- 5 km - Turkey Trot
- 1 mile - Nature Walk
Online pre-registration is available; online registration closes November 28, 2025. Pre-registration entry fees are $30 for the 5k and $10 for the 1 mile (no T-shirt for the 1 mile). Race day entry fees are $35 for the 5k and $15 for the 1 mile (individual or family). A T-shirt is provided to the first 100 5k registrants.
Course, logistics and awards
The course runs around a lake and on nearby trails. Course surfaces include sandy areas along the lake perimeter and wooded trails with downhill and uphill sections. Drop-off is permitted at the Nature Reserve but there is no on-site parking. Off-site parking will be provided at Atlantic Christian School, 391 Zion Road, with a continuous shuttle bus service between the school and the reserve.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Egg Harbor Nature Reserve. Awards are given to the top male and female overall and to the top two male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 & under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
