The Fast and the Furriest 5K Turkey Trot is scheduled for Thanksgiving morning, Thursday November 27, 2025, in Ocean City, New Jersey. All events start and finish at the Ocean City Music Pier, 825 Boardwalk, Ocean City, NJ 08226. Proceeds benefit the Humane Society of Ocean City. Entry prices listed are $35 for the 5k Run and 5k Walk, and $20 for the 1 Mile Kids Fun Run. Registration closes November 23, 2025.

Course and additional details
The 5k Run and 5k Walk are held on the Ocean City Boardwalk, beginning at the Music Pier, proceeding south to 23rd Street for a turnaround, then returning north to the Music Pier finish. The 1 Mile Kids Fun Run is one loop from the Music Pier to 5th Street and back.
Packet pick-up is offered the day before at the OC Senior Center and on race day at the Music Pier. Pre-registered athletes receive a race T-shirt while supplies last. The 5k Run awards overall top three male and female finishers and top three in many age groups from 8 & Under to 90 & Over. The Kids Fun Run awards top three by age groups up to 14. Ocean City prohibits dogs on the Boardwalk. Refreshments are provided after the race. Results will be available on the event website. The race is scored by DQ Events, will be held rain or shine, and has a no refunds, transfers, or credits policy. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
