12-hour format and logistics
The 12-hour event uses a bucket of colored balls to assign loops; each ball color maps to a flagged loop. Runners record miles completed within their participation time. A black ball gives a 15-minute option or a task from a Task Master; completing tasks can earn an override ticket to swap future loop colors. Runners who complete at least one loop are listed with total miles.
There is one main aid station at the Pisgah Point Group Camping Area. It provides water, electrolyte drink, assorted snacks, and drop bag access; it also serves as the start/finish area. Event check-in is handled at the same campground with Friday night and race-morning pick-up options. Tent camping on site is allowed with very limited vehicle camping; no trailers or roof-top tents. Nearby towns: Woodland Park (14 miles) and Colorado Springs (32.8 miles). Finisher awards are given at the event; awards will not be mailed.
