The Escape to Belle Isle race takes place on July 18, 2026 on Belle Isle in Detroit, Michigan (1 Casino Way). The event is an annual race series that raises funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit. Race options include:

- Kid's Fun Run - about 400 yards, open to ages 2-12
Details and logistics
All proceeds and donations support Ronald McDonald House Charities Detroit and its services for families with hospitalized children. Registered participants receive a T-shirt; finishers in the 5K and 10K receive medals. The Kid's Fun Run awards medals or trophies to finishers. Awards are given to top male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K. Walkers, strollers, and dogs are welcome. A 1.5 hour time limit applies to the 5K and 10K.
Packet pick-up and race operations are based at the Belle Isle Casino, with parking in the large lot next to the race start/finish. Registration opens December 11, 2025; an early bird registration period ends April 30, 2026. The event offers a group/team discount of $5 off per person. Volunteers are requested for morning shifts.
