The Fall Equinox Marathon, held in northern Colorado, offers a challenging yet scenic point-to-point course through the Buckhorn and Poudre River Canyons. The full marathon features a tough start with five hilly miles, followed by approximately 21 miles of downhill running, finishing in a valley at the mountain base. The event also includes a half marathon along Colorado’s only designated Wild & Scenic River, the Cache la Poudre, and a festive 5-mile downhill race starting at Gateway Natural Area.

All races conclude near Ted’s Place with post-race food, beverages, and celebration. The event is known for its beautiful fall scenery and vibrant atmosphere. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
