Farmers 5000
The Farmers 5000 is a longstanding community 5K race held annually in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, starting and finishing at Wheat Ridge High School. Established in 1981, it is one of Colorado's earliest school-based 5K fundraisers. The course winds through nearby neighborhoods, fostering a true community atmosphere.
The event offers various categories including adult, alumni, students from elementary to high school, seniors aged 70 and up, and a virtual race option. Registration includes a T-shirt for most categories. Proceeds support educational and special programs at the school, promoting fitness and community spirit.
