Jefferson Turkey Can Run

The Turkey Can Run is an annual 5K race hosted by First Baptist Church Jefferson, taking place on Thanksgiving Day. Now in its 17th year, the event aims to support the church's Food Bank, which serves hundreds of families in Jackson County. This race is notable for being the only Peachtree Road Race qualifier in the county and is the largest 5K event in the area, with over 1,000 participants in previous years.
