Fighting the Fight Within 5K

The Fighting the Fight Within 5K (FFW) is a running and walking event designed to honor veterans and raise awareness about veteran suicide. Scheduled for August 9, 2025, at the Veterans Serving Veterans Community Park in Cadillac, MI, the event features a 5K timed run and a 2-mile tribute walk. Participants are encouraged to wear patriotic colors and can carry names of veterans in memory of those lost.

Proceeds will support local veterans through various programs and scholarships. The day will also include a community farmer's market and food trucks, fostering a spirit of community and support. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
