Event overview
The Toy Trot is a 5K road race held in Cadillac on November 8, 2025. The event raises funds and toy donations for Toys for Tots in Wexford and Missaukee counties. This edition is the thirteenth annual Toy Trot. Over the previous twelve years the event has helped provide more than $75,000 worth of toys to local families. Toy Town of Cadillac will match cash donations 1:1 up to $2,000.
Course, registration and logistics
The race starts behind Toy Town at Lake Street between the pavilion and the water fountain. The route goes out about 1.5 miles near Cheryl’s Landing and returns to the start, making an out-and-back course. Organizers describe the course as very flat.
Registration fees are stated as $35 for participants 18 and older and $30 for those under 18; discounts are available for certain clubs and early registration may apply. Payment options include online payment, check by mail, or payment at Toy Town of Cadillac, 122 S Mitchell St, Cadillac, MI 49601. Packet pick-up is available all day Friday, November 7 (10:00 AM–7:00 PM) at Toy Town and beginning Saturday morning in the city park. Additional Toys for Tots donations are accepted.
