Firecracker 5K Dallas
The event takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Katy Trail Ice House, 3127 Routh St, Dallas, TX 75201. Races are held on the Katy Trail. Water stops on the 5K course are available at mile 1 and mile 2.

Logistics and rules
Early packet pickup is scheduled at Playtri Dallas, Hillside Village Shopping Center, 6465 E Mockingbird Ln #358, Dallas. Race day packet pickup is at the race site. The 5K uses disposable timing tags; each participant must wear a timing chip and a bib visibly on the front. The 1M fun run is not timed.
Per event rules, no pets are allowed on the 5K; pets are welcome in the 1M fun event. Strollers may be integrated safely into the event. Minimum age for the 5K is 6; there is no minimum age for the 1M. Awards for the 5K include overall top finishers (male and female), masters and grand masters, and top three male and female finishers in age groups from 14 & under through 80+. Swag includes a race t-shirt, finisher medal, and a brunch pass with an All American hot dog and beer or mimosa for participants 21+ (ID required). There are 70 valet parking spots at the venue and additional nearby parking. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
