Course and logistics
The race is a point-to-point course that starts at 6150 Kavanaugh Boulevard and finishes on the east side of War Memorial Stadium. The route runs along Kavanaugh Boulevard, passes by the Little Rock Zoo, and finishes around the outside of War Memorial Stadium. The organizer notes there are no shuttles to the starting line before the race. There are shuttles to return participants to the starting line after the race. Runner’s World has described the course as "One of the fastest in the USA."
Registration and awards
The listed registration fee is $34.09 ($30 plus a $4.09 processing fee). Prices are described as inclusive of mandatory charges. Registration policies state there will be no refunds and that fees are not refundable if the event is cancelled due to "Acts of God." Firecracker trophies are to be handed to the first 50 men and the first 50 women finishers. There are overall male/female and masters awards, age-division awards, and medals for children 12 years old and under who complete the race. Overall and masters winners receive a pair of Hoka shoes.
