About the race
FireK 25 is a family-friendly running event in Evans, Georgia at Patriot’s Park in Columbia County. Participants can choose a 5K or 10K course, and the event blends competitive running with community festivities. The day features fire apparatus displays, fire-related activities for kids, Super Heroes, a Kids Fun Zone, a live DJ, a free hotdog lunch, a Kids Fun Run, trophies, and door prizes.
Firefighters are encouraged to form teams for a bragging-rights trophy and prize. The event supports firefighting families facing cancer and offers no-cost preemptive screenings, aligning sport with a charitable mission. A virtual race option is available.
