About the race
Firewater Ultra takes place in Greenback, Tennessee, along the East Lakeshore Trail on Tellico Reservoir. Distances include a 100K; a 50K with Sunrise and Sunset variants; a 50K Relay; and a new 25K Ruck. The course uses the end-to-end Tellico Lake trail system: the 100K runs out and back the full length; the 50K Sunrise starts at the northern end and returns to the finish; the 50K Sunset begins later to enjoy the sunset; the Relay involves bus transfers between trailheads.
The finish line sits at Wildcat Pointe Trailhead. In its 11th year, the event celebrates well-maintained, runnable trails and offers new cowl hoodie shirts. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
