Flagstaff Sky Peaks takes place in Flagstaff, AZ, staging from the Fort Valley Trailhead. The event offers multiple trail distances that start and finish near Snowbowl access and use a mix of forest roads and single-track trails through the Coconino National Forest and aspen stands.
- 50 Mile - circumnavigates the San Francisco Peaks
- 50 KM - explores Snowbowl, the Arizona Trail, Schultz Tank, and Weatherford
- 26 KM - climbs to Schultz Tank and the Weatherford area
- 10 KM - runs Flue, Moto, and Poker Run trails
Course features and logistics
Courses feature sections of forest road and single track, parts of the Arizona Trail (AZT), aspens, steep climbs such as the Powerline and Weatherford climbs, rocky descents on the Moto trail, and a final 2.5 mile forest-road approach to the finish. Trail junctions are marked with orange and black ribbons and orange pin flags; blue-and-white checkered ribbons indicate the wrong way.

- 50 Mile: 50.1 miles, 6,532 ft gain, max elevation 9,276 ft, 16 hour limit.
- 50K: 31.5 miles, 4,015 ft gain, max elevation 9,300 ft, 15 hour limit.
- 26K: 16 miles, 1,925 ft gain, max elevation 8,900 ft, 14.5 hour limit.
- 10K: 6.2 miles, 606 ft gain, max elevation 7,742 ft, 14 hour limit.
Poles are allowed for all distances with rules for carrying and drop-bag logistics. Drop bags, crew access points, pacer rules, and live split tracking are specified for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
