Flapjack 5K
The Flapjack 5K is an annual running event held in downtown Jasper, Georgia. The 28th edition features a fairly flat, out-and-back course on paved streets, starting near 61 South Main Street and extending to Little Road before returning to the finish line close to the start. Participants receive a complimentary flapjack (pancake) breakfast, with additional tickets available for purchase.
Unique awards include frying pans for overall winners and spatulas for age group finishers. The race offers early packet pickup and ample free parking downtown. Despite not being chip timed, results are accurately recorded via finish cards.
