Logistics and policies
The 5K course is two laps inside Veterans Memorial Park at 186 Recreation Rd, Dawsonville, GA 30534. Water stations are provided approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants must maintain at least a 16 min/mile pace. Packet pickup occurs on race morning starting one hour before the race.
Regular registration prices through November 1 are $30 for the 5K and $30 for the Virtual 5K. Late registration (through November 10) lists the 5K at $32.50; race day registration for the 5K is $35. Teams of five or more receive tiered discounts. Awards are given to top finishers overall and by age and master categories (including top 3 overall male and female; masters 40+; grand master 50+; senior master 60+; and top 3 in each age group from 10 & under to 75+). Virtual participants can run anywhere, submit a time by the end of race day, and receive shipped virtual packages the Monday after the event (shipping within the continental US only). The event is held rain or shine; all registrations are final with no refunds. RaceJoy mobile tracking and progress alerts are available as part of the race experience.
