Run for Rangers
Run For Rangers is a two-day running event held in Dahlonega, Georgia, featuring multiple race options including a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and combined Ranger Challenge races (5K or 10K plus Half Marathon). The half marathon course is notably challenging, running mostly on forestry service roads near the Appalachian Trail at Camp Merrill, where U.S. Rangers train, offering a rugged mountain experience with two tough hills.
The 5K and 10K races take place at Hancock Park, coinciding with Veterans Day festivities, including a parade, music festival, and family-friendly activities. Awards are given across various age and gender categories, and participants can enjoy food and beverages post-race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
