Fleet Feet Roanoke - Winter Warriors 2025 is an eight-week social movement series held Saturdays from November 29 to January 17 in Vinton, VA. Meetups are based at RND Coffee - Vinton, with the event location listed as 111 E. Washington Ave, Vinton, VA 24179.
The program encourages participants to explore the Town of Vinton and the Roanoke River Greenway System. The series is open to the public and accepts all ages and paces. Family and friends may attend together.
Routes, perks and requirements
Weekly route options include the following distances:
- 1.5-mile
- 3-mile
- 5-mile
Each attendee receives a punch card and a special "star punch" from the coach for every meetup attended. After five punches, participants receive a free coffee. An annual commemorative Winter Warriors hoodie with custom-designed artwork will be available for purchase during the series.
Participants must carry emergency contact information while attending and follow Greenway etiquette. Reflective clothing and lights are encouraged when daylight is limited, and participants are encouraged to carry hydration. Registration through RunSignUp concludes on 11/29/25.
