Florida Turkey Trot

The Florida Turkey Trot is a festive 3.1-mile run/walk held at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, as part of Thanksgiving traditions. Open to all ages and abilities, the event features a professionally managed course with chip timing. Participants receive a recycled poly-rayon race shirt, a finisher's medal, and enjoy a post-race celebration with pastries, fruit, and mimosas.

The top 100 male and female finishers earn special Thanksgiving-themed awards. There is also a Kids Dash for children 12 and under. The event supports charitable causes, including scholarships for childhood cancer survivors, and offers both in-person and virtual participation options.
