Fly Sam Fly 5K

The Fly Sam Fly 5K run/walk is held annually in downtown Stanford, Kentucky, offering a welcoming and low-key atmosphere ideal for beginners and families. Participants run or walk a 5-kilometer course through the town, fostering community fellowship. The event honors Sam Singleton, a young man whose memory inspires the creation of the Sam Singleton Educational Fund.

This fund supports extracurricular programs at Lincoln County Middle and High Schools, including cross-country, track, drama, archery, and FCA, reflecting Sam’s passions. Since its inception, the fund has awarded $60,000 to students and programs. The race combines fitness, community spirit, and charitable support.
