Fly the Flag 5K

The Fly the Flag 5K/2K is a patriotic running event held at the Lake County Fairgrounds in Crown Point, Indiana. Scheduled for July 4, 2025, it features a timed 5K run and a non-timed 2K run/walk, both set along scenic paths around the fairgrounds' lake. The event celebrates American unity by encouraging participants to fly their flags from Flag Day through Independence Day.

The first 200 registrants receive finisher medals, and awards are given to top overall finishers and age group leaders. Proceeds support local first responders.
