Flyin' Lion 5K & Cub Run : April 4, 2026
The event takes place on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at Lakeway Christian Academy in White Pine, TN (3720 Roy Messer Hwy, White Pine, TN 37890). The program includes a 5K race and a Cub Run.
Registration and entry fees
Registration opens for the 5K on December 13, 2025, and for the Cub Run on January 1, 2026. Entry fees listed are $38.10 for the 5K and $22.20 for the Cub Run, each price shown inclusive of the stated registration fee.
Course, awards and amenities
The 5K starts and finishes at the student pick-up area on campus, follows campus roads and adjacent streets, includes one counter-clockwise lap around the track, a water stop near the 1 mile point, an out-and-back on a dead-end road, and a final clockwise lap of the track back to the finish. The course has a total elevation gain of 185 ft. Restrooms are available in the athletic complex. Awards will be given to the top male and top female overall, and age-group awards are offered in 20-year increments (for example: 9 & under, 10-29, 30-49). All participants receive a T-shirt; registrants are entered in a drawing for an LCA all-sports pass for the 2026-27 school year. Runners under age 10 who complete the Cub Run receive a finish-line medal. Proceeds benefit the Lakeway Christian Academy Athletic Department.
